Can customers receive self storage gate access before they arrive?

Yes. An authorised administrator can create an account remotely, send a registration invitation and set when permission starts. Digital access avoids handing over a physical remote or sharing a pin code for every user.

Can digiGate connect to our self storage rental software?

Yes. The Enterprise booking system API supports commissioned integrations. We check your software, available events and access rules, then complete a project with you to fully integrate.

Can access end when a rental finishes?

Yes. Set an end date in advance or revoke the permission remotely when required.
A system link via the digiGate API can automatically sync access with storage site customer accounts. Missed payments, early termination & end of rental agreements mean site access being revoked automatically.

Can we audit customers who still have gate access?

digiGate supports account exports and dormant-user reporting. Compare accounts with active rentals, then remove permissions that are no longer needed, all via the online management console.

Can customers use hired vans or change their number plate?

An authorised administrator can update the approved plate. Mobile app or call to open access may be more suitable for customers with frequent vehicle changes.

What happens if the internet connection goes down?

ANPR can continue locally as long as there's power to the site. For unmanned sites or rural areas with intermittent Internet, we can help setup fallback options where LTE (4G/5G) networks are used in the event of an Internet failure.
