Yes. digiGate Pro is designed to work alongside existing electric gate, barrier and access control systems. It connects to the gate controller and provides app control without requiring the existing automation equipment to be replaced.
Yes. The digiGate app can be used to control multiple gates, barriers, doors or other access points from one account. This is useful for businesses, estates and sites with several entrances.
Yes. Administrators can control when individual users are allowed access using schedules and date-based permissions. For example, a member of staff could be given access Monday to Friday between set hours, while another user could have temporary access for a specific date range.
Yes. Provided the garage door controller has a suitable control input, digiGate Pro can normally operate it in the same way as an electric gate or barrier.
Yes. digiGate Pro can control pedestrian gates, vehicle gates, barriers, bollards, garage doors and other electrically operated access points. Each receiver has 4 outputs allowing control of up to 4 gates, bollards etc. simultaneously.
Yes. Users can be disabled or removed from the management console without needing to recover physical remotes, fobs or keys. Once their access is removed, they can no longer operate the gate through digiGate.
Not necessarily. digiGate communicates through the internet, so authorised users can operate the gate through the app wherever access has been permitted. For sites where you only want users opening the gate when nearby, proximity limitations can also be applied per account/group.
Yes. digiGate records access activity so administrators can see who operated an entrance, when it was used and which access method was used. Access logs can also be reviewed and exported through the management console.
For mobile app access, each user has their own account so their permissions and activity can be managed individually. If you do not want someone to install the app, digiGate also supports other access methods including number plate recognition (ANPR), call-to-open, WhatsApp and temporary PIN codes.
Yes. Access can be limited to specific dates and times, making it suitable for contractors, visitors, temporary staff or guests. Their access can automatically stop when the permitted period ends.
